Baystate Dental is growing and we're hiring another Dental Hygienist for our office located in Springfield, Massachusetts 01103. This is a full-time position working Mon-Fri (8:00-5:00).

At Baystate Dental, we have everything a Hygienist could ask for.  We have a great facility with free parking, amazing staff members, and we take pride in staying up to date with new technologies.  We are excited to be adding Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) and Overjet AI in the near future! 

We are a well-established, successful practice, where we truly value our hygienists and the important role they play in our success.  To ensure our hygienists get off to a successful start, the candidate we hire will go through a short training program, so when they begin to see patients, they will feel confident and comfortable in their new position within our team.  Great for new grads!

Previous experience is always a plus, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well.  The Hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of MA.  New hygiene grads must be applying for license soon. 

If you join our team, you will be joining a very special team of Hygienists.  All of our hygienists, including those at our other nearby locations, enjoy working together and advocate for constant hygiene support.  

Responsibilities:

Dental Hygienists deliver periodontal therapies and hygiene services to enhance patient oral health. Candidates should be passionate about dental care and dedicated to providing exceptional service consistently.

Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.

Patient screening, medical history and dental charting. 

Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. 

Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease. 

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must possess an active Dental Hygiene license for Massachusetts

Strong verbal and written communication skills
