Primary Responsibilities:
The Pricing Analyst position is responsible for performing pricing, margin and profitability analysis for products, categories, suppliers and customers within the KeHE distribution network. This includes inbound cost components, outbound price points and the resulting standard margin. All accountabilities are to be fulfilled in a manner consistent with the Company Mission and Values.
This position is based out of our Naperville IL headquarters and is onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with the ability to work remotely Monday and Friday.
Essential Functions:
Facilitate implementing actionable analytics and forecasting relative to item cost, selling price, and margin
Auditing and process oversight on pricing processes and quality controls.
Consumption of internal and market place data supporting pricing strategy and impact
Customer RFP pricing and catalog file creation
Support pricing components of new customer on-boarding
Support pricing components of customer model change processes
Support pricing file upload and system control files
AS400/SAAS System maintenance related to pricing data
Oversee extensive data mining for cost/price components and vendor/item attributes
Ad hoc reporting, as required
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including: Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and Power Point required
Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:
High math acumen and analytical skills
Experience with data mining software (e.g., Pricefx, SQL, AS400, Power BI) is strongly preferred
Pricing/margin management experience required
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills to transfer process and concept knowledge to all levels of internal and external customer base
Distribution experience preferred
