Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pricing Analyst to assist with the development and execution of our mortgage pricing strategy across all business channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in secondary markets, mortgage pricing, and analytics. This role is crucial to ensuring competitive, accurate pricing that aligns with business objectives. The Pricing Analyst will work closely with various teams to manage pricing models and support strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage mortgage pricing models and strategies for all business channels, ensuring alignment with market trends and internal goals.

Collaborate with the secondary marketing and capital markets teams to support pricing decisions and market risk analysis.

Analyze competitive pricing, market data, and financial metrics to recommend adjustments and improvements to pricing strategies.

Assist in implementing and optimizing the pricing engine to ensure accurate and competitive pricing for mortgage products.

Provide insights and reports on pricing performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.

Monitor market conditions, including interest rates and economic factors, to adjust pricing strategies in real time.

Work closely with senior management to refine and execute strategic pricing initiatives across the company.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to pricing practices.

Stay updated on industry changes and best practices to maintain a competitive pricing strategy.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in secondary marketing or a related field within the mortgage industry.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

Proven experience in mortgage pricing, capital markets, or secondary marketing strategies.

Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.

Ability to analyze complex financial data and market conditions to make informed pricing recommendations.

Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present insights to senior leadership.

Proficient in pricing engines and mortgage-related technology platforms.

Must be based in Austin, TX or willing to relocate.
