Axient is currently seeking a Project Management Specialist to support our customer at Tinker, AFB in Oklahoma. This position performs detachment-level front office executive administrative and project management support for the 96 OG Det 2.

What you will do...:

Support the organization by managing and processing civilian and military personnel actions in Air Force personnel systems including Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS), Base Level Systems Delivery Model (BLSDM), Virtual Personnel Center (VPC), Personnel Records Display Application (PRDA), LeaveWeb and others related to personnel leave, performance reports, change of station assignments, temporary duty, awards, and

Maintain and track expenses for items such as project meetings, team meetings and test meetings.

Focal point for taskers assigned by the 96th Operations Group. Assigns taskers to appropriate POCs and submits response to the 96 OG via Teams, Task Management Tool (TMT) or email.

Manages organization’s Security program. Processes visit requests in DISS, initiates new and periodic investigations, issues Line Badge paperwork, Safe Custodian, and handles other responsibilities related to the security management program.  Maintains close contact with the 552 Information Protection Office.  Attends quarterly security meetings, required inspections, and responds to taskers.

Unit Health Monitor ensuring military members are green in ASIMS and deployment ready.

Performs Cybersecurity Liaison duties of all unit member’s network accounts, shared drives, SIPRNet and signs documentation granting access to various programs.

Completes all MICT checklists for assigned programs. Attends meetings and inspections in regard to the checklists.

Confers with the Commander in planning daily schedules, reminding him/her of commitments made, matters which need attention and when necessary, assists in rearranging the schedule, cancels engagements, or makes other adjustments, ensuring all persons affected by such changes are Arranges conference calls and initiates and ensures that all parties are present on call.

Assists with the preparation of agendas for meetings/conferences. Informs participants of subjects to be discussed, follows up on reports and studies required because of the meetings/conferences, and advises the supervisor of their progress.

Composes replies to correspondence, types a wide variety of materials including, but not limited to memoranda, reports, letters, and tables on own initiative from oral directions or rough

Handles all aspects of records Responsible for determining and incorporating all material into the official records and for developing, organizing, and maintaining the electronic folders and the reference material in these folders. Closely works with subject matter experts to stay up to date on issues to obtain accurate information for classifying and indexing records.

Picks up and sends official mail to include classified items.

Coordinate extensively with leadership, peers, and external organizations in the performance of responsibilities. Maintain organization charts, recall rosters, spreadsheets, and other

Maintain organization’s Air Force SharePoint sites

In process or out process

Completes End of Day Checklist per unit schedule and personal availability

Maintains contact with other organizations, government agencies, managers, and contractors to exchange ideas and remain current on developments in area or field of responsibility.

Skills you will need...:

Excellent and customer interface skills

Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and establish priorities to meet customer

Administrative or project management experience in a DOD environment is

Excellent analytical skills with attention to

Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication

Ability to work effectively in small and large team

May provide leadership to lower-level

Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking.

Proactive self-starter. 

Preferred Experience:

Experience providing administrative or project management support for senior level Air Force

Recent experience in Air Force personnel administrative duties at the Air Force squadron level or above.

Requirements:

Master’s Degree and 10 years of experience. (See approved substitutions below.)

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Active SECRET clearance is required by start date. 

Education Substitutions:

12 years' work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree

Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree
