SUMMER 2025
Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.
The Electronic & Mechanical Component Engineer Intern will perform a variety of duties related to information about Electronic Components placed on Printed Circuit Board (PCB) schematics.
This Internship is 100% Remote
Responsibilities:
Input information about Electronic Components placed on Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) into a central database
Find and recommend multiple sources/alternates for electronic components
Organize documentation related to issues with Electronic Components (i.e. stock shortages, obsolescence, quality)
Perform tasks described in Change Requests affecting Electronic Component information
Continuously maintain accurate data in electronic component central database
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of coursework in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
Basic knowledge of electrical components
Good Microsoft Office skills. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Database experience is a plus
Ability to work independently with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Highly organized and able to follow standard instructions, practices and procedures
Keen willingness to learn new concepts and skills
