Although you may never think about controlling light, would you want to watch a movie in a bright room? Do you enjoy waking up with sun glaring in your eyes? People are more productive, feel more comfortable, and are generally happier under the right light.
Lutron Electronics, the inventor of the dimmer, innovates beautifully designed solutions for residential and commercial applications. Our lighting controls and automated shades are installed in Fortune 100 companies, universities, sport stadiums and residences all over the world.
Responsibilities:
What you’re going to do:
Participate in a comprehensive 7-month development experience in Pennsylvania
Actively learn about our technology, products, sales strategies, and customer types
Travel to several major cities during the program on sales trips to experience a day-in-the-life of salespeople in each business segment (retail, residential, and commercial)
Improve your presentation skills by receiving direct feedback from sales leaders
Build personal relationships with Lutron’s executive team
Complete training and join one of our business segments an outside salesperson and relocate to a major metropolitan market
Your impact:

You directly contribute to company growth and expansion through sales of new products, services, and markets
You uphold our position as the industry leader with your proactive communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:
You have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.80; a technical degree or interest is preferred
You must be willing to relocate and travel up to 50% once assigned to a territory
You have 0-3 years of professional working experience
