Electrical Engineers at Lutron participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality consumer products and services for commercial and residential use.
There are a variety of technical areas throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as:
Power electronics, power supply design, and electric motors
Use of active components such as power MOSFETs, thyristors, and integrated circuits
Design for electromagnetic compatibility, noise immunity, and thermal dissipation
Analog circuit design, analysis, and verification
Microcontroller hardware implementation
Responsibilities:
Design of circuits, including stress analysis, worst-case design, and testing
Construction of prototypes, theoretical models, and simulations
Frequent collaboration with RF, mechanical, and embedded engineers
Participation in PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design process and product design reviews
Design and qualification for internal, domestic, and international safety and standards
Design for manufacturing, testing, and assembly, including tester development
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
0-3 years' experience in a related field
Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time for inter-office collaboration, site visits, etc.
