Overview:
Unload incoming trucks, process and track shipments via Supply Chain Management system and package tracking system. Verify shipment accuracy and integrity. Track incoming tissue as required by the Joint Commission [TJC] via tissue tracking software and/or procedure. Deliver and track customer orders accurately. Process all outbound shipments via the most cost effective methods, while meeting the customer's needs. Maintain a clean and safe work area daily.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of one year of experience in a high volume shipping and receiving environment. Prefer at least three years of hospital shipping and receiving experience. Ability to load and unload trucks, carts, etc. and operates shipping equipment (manual or motorized pallet jack, fork lift, etc.) required. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel demonstrated. Prefer previous experience with Supply Chain Management system. Associates degree preferred.
