We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Land Development Project Manager who is passionate about the construction process to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role you will work in close partnership with Project Managers to complete land development design, planning and permitting for various projects. A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Attend meetings with Design/Build professionals and clients to understand project requirements
Research and collect site specific due dilligence to initiate the land development process
Design and draft land development plans for multifamily residential, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and industrial projects
Review outside drawings and reports to assist Project Management team
Perform site investigative due diligence and work with contracting team to value engineer sites
Prepare schematic site plan, grading & utility plans to illustrate site developability based on site constraints
Perform storm water detention analysis, site utility design, and earth work analysis to best inform site planning effort for cost and constructability
Meet with customers to review concept plans, discuss advantages to multiple approaches, and work to define direction of project with Design/Build contracting team
Coordinate and value engineer design plans with other disciplines (Geotech, structural, architecture, etc.)
Ability and willingness to ask questions and think independently while working within a team
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently enrolled in a Civil/Environmental Engineering program, with an anticipated graduation date of May - December 2025
Previous internship/co-op experience, preferably in land development at a civil engineering firm
Experience in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D preferred
