Overview:
Northeast Medical Group, Inc. seeks Physician / Chief of Addiction Medicine to work in Bridgeport, CT.
Will provide comprehensive care in internal medicine and addiction medicine to adult patients in hospital and primary care clinic setting; communicate with primary care provider about patient’s in-hospital diagnosis, prescriptions, treatment, and follow-up care; periodically cover weeknight and weekend shifts; oversee addiction medicine consult service in both outpatient and inpatient settings; provide consultative services to referring clinicians; treat patients with alcohol and drug use disorders; educate medical students and residents on addiction medicine.
Candidates must have a valid CT physician license prior to employment commencing; M.D. or D.O. (foreign equivalent accepted); completion of internal medicine residency program; BE/BC in internal medicine.
