Experts in railway electrification schemes across the UK and Europe require an HSQE Advisor in the Glasgow area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental best practices across the business.

Responsibilities:

* Promote SHEQ compliance, providing relevant data to colleagues

* Ensure company processes and legislation is adhered to, through excellent communication, training and evaluation strategies

* Help SHEQ Manager concerning safety and environmental risks and assist with controls to keep these risks as low as reasonably possible

* Implement process improvements

* Assist with internal audits to measure and assess business compliance

* Take part in investigations when required

* Support implementation of Behavioural Safety and Safety Culture Change Programme

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a SHEQ Advisor / HSQE Advisor, working within the railway, construction, highways or utilities sectors

* NEBOSH certificate

* IEMA certificate

* Knowledge of operational safety

* PTS

* Understanding of UK and European SHEQ legislation

* Driving licence
