Accounts Assistant required for a new and exciting opportunity to join a small friendly company based in Halesowen with a view to start immediately. You will be working under the accounts manager and be responsible for the day to day running of the accounts function for the business. Your duties will include purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, petty cash, expenses, credit card reconciliations, credit control and assisting with the day to day running of the business. You will be at the heart of the business and outside of finance will assist with the day to day operations of the business which will include dealing with customer queries, negotiating the best prices for services, dealing with couriers and managing costs so this really would suit someone who enjoys a challenging yet interesting role.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to manage and prioritise your workload and have experience working with computerised accounting software. This is an office based role so would suit someone local to Halesowen. My client is offering 20 days holiday plus bank holidays which increases with service, some flexibility in the working hours, on site parking and a generous company bonus scheme so apply now
