A leading defence and security organisation is seeking an experienced Export Compliance Manager to ensure full compliance with global import/export regulations. You will be the key point of contact for managing the company's adherence to ITAR, UK Export Controls, and other international trade laws, providing essential support to both the operational and strategic sides of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and oversee trade compliance policies, including ITAR and UK Export Regulations.
Train internal teams on compliance processes and legal requirements.
Manage licensing applications and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Oversee import/export documentation and maintain control of customs procedures.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and internal departments to expedite approvals.
Provide strategic advice on trade compliance to various teams, including Business Development and R&D.
Conduct due diligence on customers, end-users, and third parties to mitigate risk.

Skills & Experience Required:

Extensive experience in trade/export compliance, preferably within the defence sector.
In-depth knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and UK Export Controls.
Experience using SPIRE, CHIEF, and LITE systems.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Commercial awareness and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Benefits:

Competitive salary (£55,000 - £60,000)
