Senior Ecologist

Birmingham £32,000-£40,000

I am pleased to announce that I am looking for a Senior Ecologist to join a well-established team in Birmingham! They are a multidisciplinary consultancy who specialise in a range of environmental departments including Ecology, Landscape Architecture and Arboriculture.

The team are seeking a Senior Ecologist who will be able to assist in the development and mentoring of the team. The teamwork with an ever-increasing client base and have a keen focus on developing areas of ecology.

Responsibilities include;

Team leadership, project management and business development.
Completing a mixture of field and office-based assignments.
Mentoring team members.
Producing EcIA's and management plans.Requirements of a Senior Ecologist include;

Commercial and practical ecological experience, with a relevant professional institution membership.
Experience with Phase 1 Habitat and Protected Species surveys, PEA and EcIA's.
Protected species survey licences are preferred.
Excellent report writing skills.Benefits include;
