Our client, a well-established independent construction consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Leeds. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects with a big focus on local authority projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct building surveys, inspections, and assessments
Prepare detailed reports and documentation on building conditions
Advise on the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings
Manage and oversee refurbishment and renovation projects
Conduct feasibility studies and prepare budget estimates
Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and standards
Provide expert advice on property and construction matters to clients
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Building Surveying role
Strong knowledge of building construction, regulations, and standards
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
On offer for the Building Surveyor:
* Salary £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and chartership.
* 5% pension
* 27 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
