Management Accountant

Due to recent expansion, our partner, a well-established and trusted engineering solutions provider with decades of industry experience, has introduced a new role for a Management Accountant.

As the Management Accountant, you will have the opportunity to engage with all areas of the business and finance. Your focus will be on driving systematic improvements and advancing the department, ensuring it enhances its overall contribution to the company's success.

The responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

* Lead the preparation of monthly accounts, handling trial balance adjustments, accruals and other financial adjustments.

* Drive the implementation of the new ERP system, becoming a key player in the transition.

* Lead the shift toward digitised, real-time reporting, implementing process improvements and integrating fixed assets within the ERP system.

* Assist the Financial Controller with audits and manage the submission of mandatory business returns.

* Support stock accounting, cleanse data, and enhance processes, while raising awareness of financial impacts across the business.

Requirements:

* Qualified ACCA/CIMA however will consider applicants who are P/Q and actively studying.

* Experience in an engineering/manufacturing setting with ERP experience is highly desirable.

What this is offering

* A salary of £50,000-£55,000 depending on experience.
