£83.50 - £95 per day

We are currently looking for behaviour support assistants to work with a child with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs at a specialist SEMH Primary school in Norfolk.

The Role

In this role you will be supporting various pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs on a 1 to 1 and small group basis. Pupils attending the Pupil referral unit have been permanently excluded from mainstream school settings and you will need to be committed to improving the lives of those affected by emotional trauma or mental health.

They are ideally looking for someone with a background in youth work or previous experience in a Primary Behaviour Support role, who can provide support whilst maintaining high expectations. The School is part of a trust of Specialist Schools in London. This specialist PRU is based in Norfolk and is specifically for primary aged children in the borough who have suffered trauma within their young lives. There is a highly committed team who hold the interests of each and every child at the heart of everything they do. The school offers training and development for all their staff.
