About the role - Behaviour Teaching assistant - Guildford
If you have experience working with students with challenging behaviours or special educational needs and have previous classroom experience, this may be a great fit for you. You will be assisting students in the classroom on either a 1:1 or small group basis. You will be responsible for supporting their academic studies and ensuring that they remain interested in what they are studying. In addition to supporting them with their academic studies and challenging behaviours, you will also assist them with their academic studies as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant. Mental health disorders, challenging behaviours, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) may be present in the students. It is imperative that you are able to act quickly when a situation arises between two students.
