Role: BSL Teaching Assistant
Location: Greenwich, London
Salary: £80.00 - £100.00 per day (based on experience)
Requirements:
Qualification in BSL: Certified proficiency in British Sign Language.
Previous Child-Based Experience: Demonstrated experience working with children or young adults.
DBS on the Update Service: Enhanced DBS clearance, ensuring eligibility to work with children.Responsibilities:
Supporting Inclusive Learning: Assist in creating an inclusive environment by supporting students with hearing impairments to engage fully in lessons.
BSL Integration: Facilitate communication through BSL to ensure seamless interaction between students, teachers, and peers.
Individual Support: Work closely with students, providing tailored assistance according to their individual needs, fostering their academic and social development.
Collaboration: Collaborate with teaching staff and SENCO to implement effective strategies for supporting students' learning and inclusion.
