Key Information:
Position: Assembly Operative
Salary: £23,200.32 per annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00-16:30 | Friday, 08:00-15:30 – 39 hours per week.
Contract type: Permanent
About the Role:
As an integral part of a small production team, you will be responsible for the accurate manufacturing and configuration of high-quality products.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
• Manual Production Work: Utilizing various hand and power tools with precision.
• Assembly of Parts: Creating finished, tested, and quality-standard products.
• Programming and Configuring: Using software via USB sticks and computers.
• Picking and Packing: Ensuring the careful handling of finished goods.
• Shrink Wrapping Pallets: Preparing products for shipping.
• Shipping Goods: Generating computer labels for efficient shipment.
• Basic Fault Finding and Electrical Work: Addressing and resolving issues as they arise.
Requirements:
We're looking for candidates with the following qualities:
• Production Experience: A background in production or manufacturing is essential.
• Can-Do Attitude: A positive work ethic and willingness to take on challenges.
• Attention to Detail: Precision is key in ensuring product quality.
• Manual Handling: Comfortable with some manual handling tasks.
