Job Opportunity: Qualified Architect – Richmond, UK

We are working with a growing architectural practice based in Richmond, seeking a talented and UK-qualified Architect to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a range of high-end residential and commercial projects while playing a key role in transitioning the practice to Revit.

About the Practice:
Location: Richmond, UK
Team Size: A small, close-knit team of 4-5 professionals

Project Pipeline:
High-End Residential: Two projects on-site, with four at the planning stage and four at concept stage.
Commercial Fit-Outs: Three large-scale commercial fit-out projects at various stages (planning, on-site, and concept).
The practice is known for its design excellence in high-end residential, domestic refurbishments, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery: Work on high-end residential and commercial fit-out projects through all RIBA stages.
Revit Champion: Play a key role in the practice’s transition to Revit as the predominant BIM tool, alongside the existing use of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the small, dynamic team to deliver projects to the highest standards.
Design & Technical Work: Contribute to both design and technical aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to UK building regulations and quality assurance.

Essential Criteria:
UK Qualified Architect: Must hold RIBA Part 3 qualification, with experience gained prior to Part 3.
Revit Skills: Strong proficiency in Revit, with the ability to help guide the practice’s transition to Revit.
Project Experience: Experience working across various sectors, ideally with high-end residential and commercial fit-out projects.
Software Proficiency: Competency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, with a focus on converting the practice to full Revit use.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a small team.

Key Attributes:
Self-Starter: Able to work independently and take initiative in driving projects forward.
Team Player: Comfortable working in a small, collaborative office environment.
Adaptability: Eager to learn and grow within a dynamic practice, contributing to both residential and commercial sectors.

Additional Details:
Salary: £38,000 – £43,000, dependent on experience.
Location: Full-time office-based role in Richmond, UK.
Career Growth: Opportunity to take on significant responsibility and grow with the practice as it continues to expand.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a UK-qualified architect to join a small but growing practice with a diverse range of projects. If you are passionate about high-end residential design and have strong Revit skills, we encourage you to apply
