Quality Assurance Supervisor / Based in Eye, Suffolk / £28,000 Per Annum / Monday to Friday / 7.00am till 4.00pm / Permanent
Hales Group are excited to be working with our client who provide to end markets within the hospitality sector, in search for a Quality Supervisor. As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you need to be adept with quality legislations, familiar with HACCP and auditing. A background in food would be beneficial, but not essential.
Role Purpose:
As a Quality Assurance Supervisor you will be in a supporting role to the Technical/Production Manager, to regularly maintain and review the Procedures Manual, Quality Manual, The HACCP plan and Staff Training.
Main Duties, But Not Limited To:
Maintain and review the Procedures Manual, Quality Management Manual, Equipment Maintenance, and staff training books.
Regularly review the HACCP Matrix and keep up to date.
Produce Product Procurement Forms, Allergen and Nutritional Values for customers. Complete technical documentation or questionnaires requested by the customer.
Keep up to date with all relevant food legislation.
Carry out Supplier Audits and type up reports following the visits.
Carry out regular test product traceability’s and recalls.
Review all products and suppliers on a regular basis.
Summarise any complaints as part of the Managers Meetings, and produce a summary where necessary, noting preventive and corrective action.
Attend any training necessary to fulfil the position.
Attend Manager review meetings.
Candidate Attributes:
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GMP, FDA, BRC).
Experience with audits, both internal and external.
In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, HACCP).
Meticulous in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication to liaise effectively with different departments and external auditors.
Ability to present QA findings and reports clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with quality assurance software or platforms is a plus.
