Job description
Our client requires someone to take on this varied role reporting directly to and supporting the Managing Director in co-ordinating the day-to-day operation of the factory teams and providing full compliance responsibility.
The role would cover the following areas:
Production Resource
· Forecasting/reordering/resourcing of materials.
· Hands on involvement within production department to understand processes and material resource requirements.
· QC Management - Carry out regular checks, assessments, and internal audits.
· Driving standards and monitoring quality controls to reduce issues and delays.
· Oversee induction and training of new production personnel and to coordinate training matrix throughout departments.
Compliance
· Responsibility for health and safety across all departments.
· Plan/carry out an annual programme of internal and external audits.
· Manage servicing and maintenance for all equipment.
Key Requirements
· Experience of health and safety essential, preferably with NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management.
· Highly organised with strong administrative and communication skills.
· Have previous experience of and demonstrate strong negotiation and administrative skills.
· Advantage but not essential to have previous experience of a production environment preferably in a supervisory capacity.
Potential for the role to develop further in supporting the Managing Director within the administration and coordination of the production departments.
This is a key role in which you would play an important part in the continued growth and development of the company
