Senior Warehouse Technician (AV Industry)
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000

Are you an experienced AV Warehouse Technician or AV Engineer looking to step off the tools and into a leadership role with regular hours? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in the AV industry to join a leading company in their lighting division, working from a single location in Uxbridge. If you’re ready to take on more responsibility and lead a small team, this could be the perfect next step for you!

Role Overview: As the Senior Warehouse Technician, you will oversee the day-to-day operations within the warehouse, including the handling of AV equipment, processing orders, and managing logistics. You will play a key role in the quality control of equipment, stock management, and supporting the transportation of goods. Key Responsibilities:

Order Processing: Pick, scan, stage, and prepare equipment for transport. Perform quality control on incoming equipment, ensuring all gear is sorted and re-shelved appropriately.
Logistics & Transportation: Manage shipments and deliveries using forklifts and other industrial equipment. Assist with loading/unloading and process both small and large shipments.
Staff Support: Supervise warehouse operations, including scheduling shifts, providing work assignments, and overseeing the work of other team members.
Safety & Maintenance: Ensure daily safety checks are conducted on equipment such as forklifts and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Customer Service: Maintain high standards of service, ensuring efficient operation and a smooth relationship with other departments.
Warehouse Systems: Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, manage pick-lists, and process orders.
Skills & Requirements:

3-5 years of experience working in an AV warehouse or as an AV engineer.
Knowledge of AV equipment, particularly within the lighting division, is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office), with experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) preferred.
Forklift operation experience (or willingness to learn).
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both team members and external stakeholders.
What’s in it for you?

Competitive salary between £30,000 - £33,000
Opportunity to step up into a senior role within a stable and growing AV company
Regular working hours and single location (no travel required)
Excellent career development within the AV industry
Work as part of a collaborative, experienced team
