Major Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Proactive Sales Executive to join our client based in Smethwick, a leading supplier within their industry, with a fantastic, friendly team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales over the phone throughout an extensive customer portfolio, covering the Southwest and Northeast of the UK.

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Main Duties:

Sales generation
Building of relationships with customer contacts
Achievement of revenue and daily call targets
Market research
Assist the Mechanical & Electrical Sales team with any administrative/inbound sales tasks as required. Candidate Specification:

Understanding of the UK Mechanical & Electrical market
Excellent telephone manner and communicator
Proven experience in a similar role
Ability to build lasting long-term relationships
Highly self-motivated and strong work ethic
Well balanced & meticulous attention to detail
