Energas are a leading service provider of cylinder gases to a variety of industry sectors in the UK, delivering a local and personal service, combined with global quality products and expert technical support. Energas supply a comprehensive range of cylinder gases to suit the needs of industry from stock. All of our cylinder gases are available in a variety of sizes, ranging from small portable cylinders through to high capacity cylinder packs.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The mission is to sell Air Liquide's Leisure Product Catalogue to target customers in target regions, following the lead of the Leisure Business Manager.

ALUK's Leisure business focuses on selling our products to Public Houses, Restaurants, Hotels, Casinos and related businesses; anywhere where people gather to consume beverages. We also sell Helium gas for balloons to retail outlets.

Our core product range is made up of CO2 and Co2 - N2 mixtures for beverage carbonation; Drinks Dispense Units: an on site mixer that negates the need for several different cylinder types; and Helium cylinders. We also sell a modest range of ancillary items such as pressure regulators, manifolds etc. The cylinders come in different sizes from small to large, depending on customer needs.

We distribute our products through various channels: direct delivery from our own network of sites; Agents acting on our behalf; and Resellers, who purchase products from us directly and then sell them on to end customers.

As a Leisure Sales Specialist your primary areas of responsibility are:

Generating new business by contacting new and existing customers, primarily via telephone (60%)
Account Management activities to ensure existing customers stay with ALUK (20%)
Strengthening and maintaining our network of Agents and Resellers (20%)

Specific duties will vary depending on the customer but will include all typical sales functions: generating new leads, conducting sales calls, raising quotations, following up on leads, closing deals and signing up customers to ALUK contracts; supporting query resolution; maintaining reports and CRM systems.

Training will be provided on ALUK's approach to selling. Performance targets will be established with you following your training and probationary period.

Are you a MATCH?

Strong Selling and negotiation skills, ideally telephone based
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
Strong relationship building skills to ensure customer satisfaction
Able to work to defined sales targets
Knowledge of the Hospitality and Beverage sector would be desirable
Ability to travel when needed to visit prospects, customers, agents and resellers
Ability to travel between our network of sites and agent locations when needed
Positive, can do attitude with a willingness to adopt new ways of working
5 GCSE's at minimum Grade C (Including English, Maths and Science)
Telesales / Account Management / Business Development would be a significant advantage.
