Business Development Manager - Commercial Contract cleaning company
Central London. The nucleus of the business is in London, specifically the city & west end.
£35K basic, Car or Car Allowance, OTE £50K uncapped.
Long term, the right BDM, will have the opportunity to manage a team.
You will be working for a reputable commercial contract cleaning company, specialising in blue chip organisations who require the highest standards of office cleaning.
Business Development Manager
To sell bespoke commercial office cleaning services to potential clients.
All New business role.
Contracts start at £10k per year up to about £400k per year, depending on the size and needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Build a pipeline of new potential clients.
One day a week in the office (Essex Office) only.t
Four days field based.
Arrange and manage your own self-generated appointments.
2-3 face to face appointments a day
Create bespoke tenders for each client from the meetings.
Follow up on leads & quotes.
Update CRM
Discuss client requirements, concerns, and points that are particularly important to them.
Carry out site surveys on the building during office hours with your potential new client – this will allow you to see the daily running and capacity of the office.
Complete a written specification, detailing tasks that need to be undertaken.
Once this information is completed, advise potential client the amount of hours required and the cost of the service.
Negotiate and Close sale.
Business Development Manager - Requirements
A well-presented, experienced new business proven sales Executive
Good time management skills and can work on your own initiative without beaning micromanaged.
Excellent listening skills
Can negotiate and close a consultative sale
Self generates appointments, generated by cold calling and sometimes door knocking.
IT literate, good telephone manor.
Has a proven background as a target achiever
