Working Hours: 8:30am to 4:00pm

Pay £95 to £110 per day

Job Description: We are working with an fantastic SEMH School who are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their school in Croydon for September. The successful candidate will work with pupils aged 7 to 16 years old, supporting their educational and emotional needs. This role requires a patient and understanding individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs in their academic and personal development.
Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and activities that meet the needs of individual students.
Foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support pupil development.
Implement behaviour management strategies to support positive outcomes.
Required Qualifications:

Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of young people.
Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications in education or child development.
Previous experience in a similar role within an SEMH setting.
Training in behaviour management techniques.
