Join a fantastic primary school in Telford on a full time basis to start ASAP until December 2024. We are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a child in KS1 on a 1:1 basis.

The primary school has a excellent reputation in the area. The school provides a nurturing environment and exceptional education for the students.

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start on a full-time basis starting ASAP. As a valued member of our support staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process across the school. You will be supporting a Year 1 child who has Autism on an ongoing basis.

What You'll Do:

* Provide one to one support to a KS1 child

* Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.

* Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted academic support.

* Help prepare classroom materials and resources.

* Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to support the overall well-being of our school community.

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant

To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position you will need:

* Experience working with primary SEN children

* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team

* Hold the Right to Work in the UK

* Have a DBS Certificate on the Update Service / Willing to obtain one

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a primary school setting
