Job Title: Accountant

Salary: From £38,000 - £45,000

Hours: Full time

Location: Colchester

Main areas of responsibility:

* Carry out all the preparation of management accounts and financial forecasts

* Assist with all areas with tax compliance matters

* Work with client managers with their portfolio management

* Comfortable with overseeing and leading a team

* Support clients with software transitions

* Support and supervise fellow colleagues studying towards their accounting qualifications

* Build and maintain healthy client relationships

Required Skills & Desired Experience:

* Completed or nearly completed ACA or ACCA qualification

* Previous experience in an Accountancy Practice

* Competent in analysing and interpreting financial data

* Can be personable and enjoy positive client relations

* Capable of demonstrating initiative in the application and utilisation of technology

* Skilled at using Microsoft Office and ideally experience using Xero
