Pure are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a busy and fast paced office based in Colchester. This is a full-time opportunity managing a team of six and covering a range of duties, across multiple divisions whilst supporting the MD.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, and annual budgets.
Monthly overview of creditor, debtor, and nominal control accounts
Prepare and post journals including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
Review of transactions and invoices through the finance system
Prepare Bank Reconciliations and bank payments
Preparation and processing of VAT returns
Interpretation and analysis of data
Systems development and process improvement
Supporting and encouraging the wider finance team.
This is an all-round role with other elements from the wider company becoming part of the role over time. Previous management experience would be beneficial and excellent communication with strong time management skills. You will be solutions driven, work well under pressure and have an engaging and encouraging approach.
