All about the role

Based at our Dudley Steel Tubes site, we are looking for an Internal Sales Executive to establish relationships with existing accounts and nurture new accounts from initial cold call; working closely with the sales team, building a rapport on the phone/via email, obtaining enquiries to quote then winning business.

Specific tasks include:

Sourcing new sales opportunities and developing existing customer base.
Build partnering relationships to understand customer needs and requirements.
Develop relationships with key accounts so that clear communication lines are open.
Help to develop new business, ensuring potential clients are aware of what our business has to offer.
Raising Sales Orders, check stock availability and raising quotations.
Ensuring a high level of customer service

You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way; always ensuring a high level of customer service and the ability to build on existing business whilst successfully developing new.

Essential Skills for the role:

Can build strong relationships quickly with a proactive attitude and approach.
Thrives off working to targets and KPI’s
Excellent communication & computer skills
Driven, collaborative, customer focused and goal oriented, with efficient organisational skills and can work innovatively and creatively.
Have achieved success in a B2B sales environment
Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
