Zest Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special educational needs school in Nuneaton. This full-time role is set to begin immediately, requiring availability Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 15:30.
This is a primary SEND school which caters for children from the age of 4-11 with Autism (ASC). As a successful candidate, you should possess prior experience working with individuals with SEND. The school values collaborative partnerships with parents, carers, and the community to enhance the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students.
- Support students’ social and emotional development.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
- Prepare and organize learning materials.
- Monitor and report on student progress to teachers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a positive demeanour.
- Strong team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
