Freight Forwarding Customer Service Operator

Location: Bradford

Salary: £24,000 - £29,000 (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00am-5:30pm

My client is looking for an experienced Customer Service Operator to join their team based in their Bradford branch. They are a leading global logistics brand, founded over 100 years ago. They employ 20,000 people worldwide and have 10 sites in the UK alone.

Supporting the Freight Team with quotations, rates and invoicing.
Completing operational administration for clients and suppliers.
Liaising with team members and customers customs processes, broker requirements, certification and commodity codes.
Respond and assist with all customer enquiries.
Provide all PODs in a timely manner.Requirements:

A background and experience in the Freight Forwarding industry is essential.
Experience working for a UK based freight forwarding company.
Excellent customer service skills
Previous experience in Freight operations is desirable
Understanding of Customs processes is desirable
Good verbal and written communication
