Senior Maintenance Engineer - Stonehouse
Full time, permanent role. Day shift hours, early finish on a Friday

Purpose
To maintain all company plant and equipment in a good and safe working order and ensuring compliance with best practice.
Principal Accountabilities
* Reporting to Manufacturing Engineer,
* To keep all equipment (e.g. Manufacturing or Plant) compliant with legal requirements and to liaise with insurance inspectors as appropriate.
* To keep updated all registers and list pertaining to the aforementioned equipment and plant.
* To ensure testing of the fire alarms and emergency lighting at appropriate times.
* To be compliant with all Health and Safety, to be aware of company policy and procedures.
* To be compliant with the environmental policy and awareness of the company procedures regarding emergency preparedness and response.
* Investigate & risks/Issues with manufacturing challenges with equipment put on long term & short plans in place.
* Planned and scheduled repairs to be organised with Logistic Manager & Chief Maintenance Engineer, Logistics manager to agree time frame, Report when repair has been finished to Logistics & Chief Maintenance Engineer.
* KPI update and reported as agreed in BIC (best in class) Meeting.
* Help with Development projects with Development Team - e.g. Oil systems, delivery of oil on to part, Roller boxes etc…
* As supervisor of staff, your staff must have planned workload in place for day to day duties
* Appraisal with your staff. Reported through the appraisal procedure.
Knowledge & Experience Required
* Engineering, presses design and construction
* Fabrication
* Electrical Knowledge (18th Edition is preferred)
* Maintenance engineer must keep maintenance records updated
* PPM and breakdown maintenance reports
