Key Responsibilities:

* The Depot Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring the depot runs efficiently and meets all performance goals.

* The role involves managing and developing a team of service technicians, parts staff, and administrative personnel.

* The Depot Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards.

* Continuous improvement initiatives will be a key focus, driving operational efficiency and cost reductions.

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers will be essential to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction.

* The Depot Manager will coordinate closely with sales and aftersales teams to provide seamless customer support.

* Management of inventory, parts, and equipment will ensure that stock levels meet customer demand.

* Regular reporting on depot performance, including financials and operations, will be required.

Candidate Requirements:

* Candidates should have proven experience in a similar management role, ideally within the construction or heavy machinery industry.

* Strong leadership and team development skills are essential.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are required for managing both internal teams and external customer relationships.

* The successful candidate will have the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple demands efficiently.

* Knowledge of health and safety standards in a workshop environment is necessary.

* Financial acumen, particularly in managing budgets, is important.
