Project Commissioning Manager - Quality and Commissioning
SSA are recruiting for an experienced Project Commissioning manager to manage the commissioning process across projects commercially and domestically. The role will answer to the Q&C Manager and the managing director and requires the candidate to take complete responsibility for the daily management of all the M&E commissioning activities on projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage specialist subcontractors
• Consistent reporting and recording the attendance of meetings, using your Strong computer skills
• Deal with clients and other representatives in a manner which presents the company in a good light, ensuring good ethics
• Review and approve concise commissioning method statements
• Supervise on site testing and report on results
• Advise on quality of M&E install during the installation phase
• Connect with the utility companies
• Manage the treatment of water
• Spectate and advise on design of services linked with the specific discipline
• Ensure there is a positive relationships amongst staff and professional team members, including your line manager
• Managing the trade contractors’ obligations to commission and manage the delivery of the specific services, linked with our scope of works
The Ideal Candidate:
Must have industry recognized qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/installation
3+ Years experience as a commissioning manager desirable
Experience in the commission of Domestic/Commercial systems
Project management experience
Strong ability to track progress of the delivery of fixes against time and cost benefits.
Flexible with Excellent team working skills
Good computer software skills required (specifically, Microsoft Excel & Outlook)
