Machine Operator

Location: Chatham Docks

Salary: Day shift £11.50 Night shift £12.70

Monday – Friday: (06:00 – 14:00) + (Friday – Sunday 06:00 – 18:00 on weekly rotation)

Please keep in mind if you don’t have machine operating experience training will be provided!

They are focused on developing close working relationships with their contractor customers to optimise designs and to generate customised prefabricated reinforcement solutions through the utilisation of Group resources, expertise and a range of specialist, innovative techniques.

Responsibilities:

* To run and operate metal bending machines.

* To report any mechanical problems to the manager immediately

* Log any issues onto a log sheet.

* Maintaining a clean and tidy work area

Skills and experience:

* Experience in a similar role is desired

* Must have experience in manual handling practices

* Must be self-motivated and able to work well under pressure

* Must be able to follow strict Health and Safety policies and procedures

* Due to the location, you must have access to your own transport
