Are you an experienced maintenance engineer looking to join a dynamic and innovative team? Our client, based on the outskirts of Chelmsford, is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the effective and efficient repair and maintenance of machinery and facilities.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime
Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment availability and efficiency
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer position

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings
Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated machinery
Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND)
