Job Title: Contracts Manager – Demolition Construction

About Us: we are excited to be working with a leading [demolition/construction] firm specializing in innovative and sustainable demolition solutions. They pride themselves on there commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship. We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join there dynamic team and help drive projects to successful completion.

Position Overview: As a Contracts Manager with demolition construction experience, you will oversee the administration and management of contracts for our demolition projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, risks are managed, and projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Administration: Develop, review, and negotiate contracts, including terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Project Management: Oversee project contracts from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and adherence to budget.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and subcontractors, addressing any concerns or issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contractual documents, changes, and correspondence.

Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, approve expenditures, and manage invoicing and payment processes.

Team Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution and resolve any contractual issues that may arise.

Qualifications:.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., RICS) are a plus.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of demolition processes, construction contracts, and legal requirements.

Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
