Smart Teachers is looking to appoint a passionate learning support assistants/teaching assistants to work in a Secondary Schools in the Borough of Brent.

About the role

The role is full time, 8.30-4pm during term time, to start in September 2024.
The appointed candidate will be working with Key Stage 3 and 4 students
You will be required to support pupils during lesson time as well as deliver some interventions to students.
Experience with SEN is essential, as pupils have ASD and ADHD.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning support Assistants required for Secondary schools in Brent you will:

Experience working with Secondary age pupils
Have an excellent, proactive, can-do attitude
Have a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Prior experience with secondary age children would be advantageous but is not essential

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
