Project Administrator - Permanent Opportunity in Gateshead!

Office Angels are seeking a proactive Project Administrator to join our clients team. Reporting directly to the Business Director, you'll collaborate with the project management team to ensure efficient and organised project support.

Location: Team Valley, Gateshead
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch, two 15-minute unpaid breaks), full office based

To provide comprehensive administrative support to the project management team, ensuring that all processes are maintained smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up CRM projects and generate work completion certificates
Execute sales order contracts
Arrange pre-start meetings, prepare documentation, and issue minutes
Raise all project and sub-contractor purchase orders and maintain logs
Handle stock material requests and replenishment
Manage the administrative process for all projects within the team
Update programmes and project requirements
Create, print, and distribute site files for the Project team
Assist with compliance, management, and closure of key stages and documentation
Raise sub-contractor payment certificates for Project Manager sign-off
Address invoice queries and manage project documentation
Control system updates and uploads
Produce weekly cost reports for all projects and track profitability
Organise surplus material returns to suppliers
Create and manage project files
Scan and file all project returns
Maintain business logs and manage shared inboxes
Handle incoming project enquiriesTechnical Competencies:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and various specialist software
Enthusiastic, fast learner with a strong commitment to excellence
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with various departments and external contacts
Highly organised, with excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines
Self-motivated and able to work independentlyExperience Required:

Proven experience in a strong administrative role
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
High-level communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
