Are you a seasoned Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer with a robust background in heavy industry settings such as the packing industry, paper mills, or foundries? This role offers a unique blend of responsibility, autonomy, and professional growth.
This is a days based role working on a 2 week rota of Tuesday-Saturday and then Wednesday - Sunday. You will be the sole engineer on site at the weekend so will need to have a good standard of knowledge and experience of electrical maintenance along with being mechanically minded and have previous experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics.

The duties of this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role:
Reactive & planned maintenance
Introduction and updating of stores, spares etc.
Monthly stock-take of spare parts.
Working as part of a small team
Shift hand over & liaising with production staff
Supporting the engineering team as required.
To comply with Company Health and Safety rules and procedures to ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner. Skills and Qualifications required for this Mechanical Maintenance Engineers role:
Minimum of a level 3 NVQ, BTEC City & Guilds equivalent
Mechanical bias and electrically competent.
Previous experience in a heavy industry setting is a must.
Be based in the UK with the relevant right to work documents.
Be able to integrate within a Continuous Improvement culture. Benefits of this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role:
