Electrical Technical Coordinator - Residential Solar Panels

Overview:
As an Electrical Technical Coordinator for Residential Solar Panels, you will play a crucial role within the operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support and solutions to customers, as well as internal departments such as the sales team, solar PV designers, field operatives, and the wider network.
Responsibilities:
Promptly respond to technical callbacks from customers and internal stakeholders.
Prioritise and manage inbound technical queries according to established processes.
Diagnose and resolve customer technical issues remotely in a timely manner.
Coordinate and oversee the remedial process in cases where remote solutions are unsuccessful.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records by updating CRM systems and external portals.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance standards set by OFGEM, BEIS, and MCS.
Offer technical support to other departments within the organization as needed.Skills/Attributes:
Essential:
Previous hands-on experience in solar PV installation.
Background in the construction industry or similar technical/engineering environment.
NVQ-3 qualification in electrical installation.
Proficiency in fault finding on electrical solar panels
Strong communication skills with prior experience in customer interactions Desirable Qualifications:
BPEC Solar PV qualification.
2391 Inspection and testing certification.
Knowledge of the 18th edition electrical regulations.
Possession of a JIB Gold Card.
Familiarity with CRM systems.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Team player with the capacity to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Doncaster
Salary Range: £35k-40k dependent on experience
Annual Leave: 23 days plus public holidays
