A commercially astute construction Bid Manager is now needed to support a Residential new build Main Contractor, across their London projects.
The Bid Manager will be based in their Southeast London office, there will be flexibility to work from home.
The Opportunity
To lead on bids in the Residential sector across London and the home counties, taking responsibility for the projects from PQQ stage to assigning contractors and starting on site.
What will the Bid Manager be doing
Take the lead on tenders with the client's representatives in Residential new build schemes
Liaise with design managers and collaborate effectively
Be an accurate Bid Manager on projects ranging from £2M - £20M
Lead bids and take responsibility for - client liaison during bid; technical bid submissions; lead bid settlement meetings with appropriate director.
Reporting to the Pre-construction Director
Manage a small bid team
Have autonomy with your clients and bid writingWhat they would like from you
3 years minimum within Bid Management
Ideally with a Residential Main Contractor
New Build Residential project examples
The ability to develop and implement a winning bid strategy in line with the company's business plan.
Good technical construction experience from either a design management, commercial or operational background
Good commercial acumen to support the implementation of the work winning strategy.
Demonstrable bid writing/ submissions skills.What you will receive
