Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians in examining and treating animals
Administer medications and vaccines as directed by veterinarians
Perform diagnostic tests, such as blood work and X-rays
Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
Monitor and record vital signs of patients
Provide post-operative care and support to animals
Educate clients on pet care and medical treatments
Maintain medical records and ensure accuracy and completeness
Requirements
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician/Nurse required
Valid Veterinary Technician/Nurse certification or licensure (not required but a plus)
Excellent technical skills, including venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, and laboratory techniques
Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and animal care
Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Flexible schedule, including Saturday's
Passion for animals and dedication to providing exceptional care
