TPF Recruitment, the leading provider of accountancy practice professionals are currently supporting one of their clients located in Oxted, currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their friendly and growing team. This role offers the flexibility to work in either a full-time or part-time capacity, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking work-life balance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for a variety of clients
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Bank reconciliations
Processing payroll
Handling general bookkeeping tasks and financial reporting
Liaising with clients to address and resolve queries
Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, ideally within an accountancy practice
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
A proactive and client-focused approach
Benefits
Competitive starting salary of £25,000 - £32,000, subject to experience
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time (minimum 22.5 hours up to 37.5 hours per week)
