Hiring Now: Project Controller, Middlesbrough
Our client is a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractor within the marine and renewable energy engineering sector.
Due to sector growth they are looking to add a Project Controller to their financial team to support the financial (project) controls of complex and large-scale projects.
As a Project Controller you will work with senior Project Controllers to support the finance and control aspects of complex offshore wind projects.
Your responsibilities as a Project Controller:
* Collating financial and management reports according to financial guidelines
* Monitoring and reporting on project progress and managing day-to-day accounting activities
* Supporting with audits of the projects and helping the preparation of cash flow and other financial forecasts
* Helping ensuring compliance with contractual requirements such as project milestones and applications for payment
* Working with the senior Project Controllers to support the Project Managers and their teams
* Learning from and covering for other Project Controllers to build experience and to progress into a more senior role
The ideal background of a Project Controller​​​​​​​:
* Degree in Business Economics, Business Administration or equivalent
* Experience of working in a project delivery environment with a good understanding of accounting and controls
* Experience in the Maritime and/or Civil sector is an advantage
