They are currently seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Specialist Teaching Assistant to join their passionate team on a part-time basis.

Role Overview:

As a Part-Time SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the inclusion and development of students with special educational needs. Working closely with our experienced teaching staff, you will contribute to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
Collaborate with class teachers to implement and adapt lesson plans to accommodate the diverse needs of students.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional development of students.
Monitor and record the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies outlined by the SENCo.

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant qualifications in Special Education or related field.
Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
