Responsible Individual/Operations Manager

I am looking for an experienced Responsible Individual/Operations Manager to oversee and manage two fantastic children’s homes in Derby, one home has 2 placements and the other has 3 placements.

The post is working for a growing organisation dedicated to providing exceptional residential care services for children and young people and are committed to upholding the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for residents.

In this fabulous role you will:

* Hold a dual role encompassing leadership in regulatory compliance and operational management

* Lead and manage services to ensure the highest standards of care in line with The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015

* Be responsible for ensuring the well-being, safety, and development of children and young people residing in residential care settings

* Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for children and young people.

* Provide direct line management to Registered Managers, offering ongoing supervision, training, and performance reviews

* Strengthen partnerships with external agencies and stakeholders, engaging them in the holistic care of residents

For the role of Responsible Individual/Operations Manager you must have:

* Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)

* Four years’ experience as a Registered Manager in a Children’s Home

* Two years’ experience as a Responsible Individual for Children’s Homes

* A full UK driving licence

* Operational experience would be a bonus
